Legal regulation

• Article 26.1 of the Law 11/2007, of 22 June, on citizens' electronic access to public services states: "the electronic records shall be recorded for the purposes of calculating the time limits attributable both to the interested parties and to the Public Administrations by the official date and time of the electronic office of access, which must have the necessary security measures to guarantee its integrity and be visible."
• Also, Article 6.2 j) of the Royal Decree 1671/2009, of 6 November, which partially develops said Law, establishes that the electronic offices will indicate the official date and time for the purposes foreseen in article 26.1 of Law 11/2007, of 22 June.
• Finally, article 15.2 of the Royal Decree 4/2010, of 8 January, which regulates the National Interoperability Scheme in the field of Electronic Administration points out that the synchronization of the date and time will be carried out with the Royal Institute and Observatory of the Navy, in accordance with the provisions on the legal time in Royal Decree 1308/1992, of 23 October.
