This grant is aimed at the direct granting of grants to the entities RED CROSS, CEAR and ACCEM to finance their programs of international protection and humanitarian assistance programs for immigrants. The granting of these nominal grants provided for in the General Law of State Budgets for the development of the programs is carried out in accordance with the General Law of Grants 38/2003, of November 27, articles 22.2.a) and 28.1.

International protection program:

Are those actions aimed at promoting the autonomy of the applicants and beneficiaries of international protection, of the status of stateless person and of the persons benefiting from the temporary protection regime in Spain. Projects that will be subsidized may include actions in the following areas:

• Priority I.1. First reception, understood as the reception, evaluation and referral of applicants and beneficiaries of international protection in Spain. Within the framework of this action, these persons will be given first attention at airports, ports and other border posts or in the offices of the entities, following their decision to make the application for international protection. Creation or maintenance of reception facilities and development of integration itineraries for applicants and beneficiaries of international protection, applicants and beneficiaries of stateless status, persons receiving temporary protection in Spain.
• Priority II. To facilitate social and health care in the Temporary Immigrant Stay Centres (CETI) of Ceuta and Melilla.
• Priority III.3. Creation or maintenance of specific resources for the comprehensive care of vulnerable groups and for the development of their integration pathways.
• Priority V. Development of individualized pathways to employment.

Program of humanitarian assistance to immigrants:

The Humanitarian Assistance Program is aimed at addressing the state of need of migrants in a situation of vulnerability due to physical deterioration and lack of social, family and economic support and who reach the Spanish coasts or form part of settlements that entail serious social and health risks and require immediate action programs to be remedied. The Humanitarian Assistance Programme includes the following services:

• Reception Service which includes not only the provision of basic accommodation and maintenance needs, but also the provision of social tools, such as language learning, training and guidance, to facilitate their integration into the host society. This service comprises four types of resources that are activated depending on the number of arrivals and the system's response capacity, which are as follows: l< Comprehensive care, Emergency and Referral Centres (CAED), Emergency Reception and Shared Management Centres. l< / l>
